Apart from my project lead role at BPI and involvement in Design Operations, I also took up the competence lead position, overseeing a diverse group of designers. This position allowed me to guide and support their growth while ensuring our design team maintained a high level of competence and collaboration.

Upon resuming my role as a project leader, I guided and directed teams in developing the finest solutions for BPI's digital retail product, catering to a vast user base of over 5 million.
In parallel, from a Design Operations standpoint, I remained committed to enhancing our creative competence. My primary focus centered around refining tooling, streamlining processes, and optimizing our way of working. These efforts aimed at fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment, enabling us to deliver top-notch results consistently.

During this phase, I made a purposeful shift from leadership roles to concentrate on professionalizing the creative competence within the organization. My primary focus was on fostering effective collaboration, refining our way of working, optimizing tools and processes, and implementing industry best practices. Through these efforts, I aimed to elevate the overall quality and efficiency of our creative endeavors.

In addition to spearheading projects, I now played a pivotal role in bolstering the design competence of the organization. My multifaceted responsibilities encompassed talent acquisition, performance management, individual and team coaching for both junior and senior team members, strategic project staffing, seamless day-to-day operations, and driving sales initiatives.
